ZWILLING® uses a knife steel with an optimum balance of carbon and chromium content for the blades of the ZWILLING® Gourmet knife series. In addition, the blades are subjected to a special ice hardening. This gives the FRIODUR® blades good edge retention while protecting them from rust. The blades of this series are therefore particularly high quality and durable. This steak knife has a blade length of 12 cm.
The design of the handles of the ZWILLING® steak knives is also well thought out. They are made of easy-care black plastic and are attached to the blades with three rivets. The middle rivet is marked with the ZWILLING® logo. It is lasered and thus durable. Both the handles and the blades are characterized by their low weight despite their robustness.
