Need a new coat of paint?
With the wooden brush from RBV Birkmann, you can grease baking tins and baking trays, glaze cakes, biscuits and pies and marinate fish and meat dishes etc. in no time at all.
Thanks to the extra fine natural bristles, it is perfect for the fine, decorative application of glazes, icing or egg white glazes.
But it is also perfect for marinating delicious roasts or tasty grilled meat. Or for homemade bread, which should be brushed with a wafer-thin layer of water every now and then as it rises, so that it later gets a wonderfully crisp crust.
Of course, we have made sure that it is made of untreated beech wood and comes from sustainably managed forests. Of course, it is food-safe, tasteless and Made in Germany!
Did you know that wood is basically very hygienic to use? It has naturally antibacterial properties, so germs and bacteria don't stand a chance. In addition, it absorbs virtually no odours or aromas!
After use, you can simply rinse it briefly under running water with a mild dishwashing liquid. The only important thing is that it dries well afterwards. We recommend rubbing the wood with a neutral oil from time to time - we prefer to use odourless rapeseed oil, it ensures that water is not absorbed so quickly by the wood, that colouring food does not leave stains so quickly and that the wood retains its original colour.
When the work is done, you can hang it demonstratively in the kitchen for storage, thanks to the eyelet at the end of the handle.
